Local Digital Broadcast Information

All of our local channels are broadcasting in digital format and will require a digital capable TV or a converter box. Some low power religious channels are broadcasting analog and digital signals. Receiving these signals may require adding additional equipment to our area antenna package.

About Zager’s Antenna Technology
Our Zager Color Special™ antenna is custom-manufactured for optimum local channel reception (UHF/VHF) in the greater Lancaster County area.

Our Color Special™ includes technical characteristics not found on any other antenna available in this area! Our antenna was designed using our knowledge of the local channels, the topography of Lancaster county in conjunction with Zager’s years of experience with antenna technology. The result is an antenna that performs.

Technical Details Our area special package consists of 3 antennas, one UHF-only for Omaha channels 3, 6, 7, 15, and 42 (these channels transmit on 45, 22, 20, 38, and 43 respectively). Our package has a dedicated antenna for 12 and an antenna dedicated to 8 & 10. The 8, 10 & 12 antennas package is coupled together with the UHF Omaha antenna with a low loss VHF/UHF coupler. This is our most recent antenna upgrade since the analog-to-digital transition in 2009.

Digital-Ready, Better Picture While it may sound complicated, the thing to remember is that we can guarantee you a better picture than can be received with any other antenna package presently available. Of course it is digital-ready for use as the digital transition happens locally. All of our major local networks are broadcasting a DTV signal which, when combined with our antenna, provides the true HDTV signal!

No Eye-Sores While antennas need height to perform well in most areas around Lincoln, our antenna installed in the attic works quite well. We still install outdoor antennas in areas where low signal levels require more height. Call us to find out about your area.
